This doctor is the most inconsiderate and greedy doctor I have ever met in my life! I have been to her a few times and will never go to her again. She will run unnecessary tests on you just to get more money from the insurance company. She does not care about her patients, she only cares about getting their money. DO NOT GO TO HER!!!

Agree absolutely.

There used to be one sponsor ad on GMTV using the slogan "for all the family's allegies"! The kind of thing that makes one feel left out or abnormal if they don't have an allegy or three.

I thank my lucky stars I grew up in the 70s and early 80s, long before TV was allowed to bombard us with that drivel in order to sell you stuff you don't really need. Perhaps that is why I don't have any allegies, no hay fever so I can walk the beautiful countryside at any time of year, not hide indoors.

Move to a state that isn't drowning in red ink and your cost of living will plummet. Missouri is quite nice, and we actually allow you to exercise the Constitutional Rights that you are precluded from in Illinois.
Your tax burden will also drop by about 20%. How can you afford NOT to move?

From the OC,eh? Maybe you should come to the US, leave the Greece of the West Coast which is California.
You would be making the equivalent of six figures as a nurse in MANY states, because their cost of living is a double-digit decrease compared to CA.
How can you even live in CA making less than $100k/year? Would that even cover rent?

Ask yourself this: would you rather have 10 million people working at 7.50/hour, or 30 million people working for 3.50/hr?

If you pay people half as much, but employ 3x more people because of it, that IS a net increase in both employment and income, which would benefit society.
Someday you WILL learn (or die trying) that 50% of something is way more than 100% of nothing.

I know several small business owners who have had to fire employes the day after a minimum wage increase because they can't afford to take a loss. They had to make the choice of firing X number of employees...or just closing the doors and firing everyone. There was no third option. Those employees were priced out of their own jobs by their own government, something no one should have to go through.

Unless someone put a gun to your head and forced sexual activity, every pregnancy is planned. I'm pro-choice: if you choose to insert a penis into your vagina, protected or not, you've chosen to have a child regardless if it happens in that instance or not. Having sex and being surprised you're pregnant is not much different than slashing your wrists and being surprised you bleed to death.

The only thing that even comes close to violating HIPPA in this article would be Starner Jones using HIS OWN name in relationship to his profession.
Maybe you're thinking of FERPA, it's info restrictions are far more strict than HIPPA. FERPA regards education, and it's so restrictive that parents aren't even allowed access to their children's grades without the student's written consent.

Which compliance class did you complete to qualify you to spot a violation?

Fast food is cheap? I need to move to wherever you live. Fast-food is a luxury that I allowed my kids about once a month. Yesterday I was in a hurry to get back to my ailing mother so I got drive thru for the two of us--only two! Nothing extravagant nor super-sized--a chili dog, reg size Italian beef, fries & 2 medium drinks--and it cost $16. I live outside of Chicago & believe me when I say that it's FAR cheaper to go to the grocery store.
